Sunday Services

Our church meets every Sunday, services officially starting at 10:30am, but we welcome everyone from 10am onwards for conversation and coffee.  It helps to arrive 10-15 minutes early to get a parking spot and a seat in time for the service to start.

We meet at:
Canon Street Church
Canon Street

There is normally ample parking available on site in Canon Street car park.  The exception being when our local County Cricket Club has a home match!

You can expect a warm welcome, passionate worship, and Christ-centered preaching from the Bible which will help us become all that God has designed us to be.  We welcome the gifts of the Spirit and whatever God would say to us, whether through a prophecy/encouragement or a tongue or Scriptures being shared etc.

Our children are not forgotten and we want them to access the same life that we do!  We are currently re-shaping and re-thinking our children's Sunday ministry and hope to be able to update you soon.  However, pre-COVID we were able to offer the following on a regular basis:

  • Creche (0 months to 3 years). Babies and small children are very welcome to stay with their family in the main hall.  There are lots of appropriate toys especially for them and noise is not a problem to us!
  • Primary-aged children (4-11 years)  We have amazing, DBS-checked Kids Church Leaders who adapt their lessons according to who is present.
  • Young people (12+ years) We partner with our friends at Taunton Youth For Christ who bless our young people as well as having some great in-house leaders for our young people.

Children typically stay with their parent or grown-up at the start of the service as we worship together for the first part of the morning. At some point someone will announce that it’s time for the younger members to go to their various groups. Parents are welcome to accompany their children if it is their first time with us.
For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the Children's Ministry page.

There are usually opportunities for prayer and other ministry after the main message.  We often take communion as part of our time together too.

We'd love you to join us!
